Biography
Fox was born on the outskirts of Greylic's Bend in a small fishing village. After the Garlean empire conquered the B'nargin dynasty and restricted trade, his village soon became destitute. In his 34th summer, he resolved to leave the village behind for a new life in Eorzea. Taking what little money he had, he chartered a ship to bring him to Gridania.Upon his arrival, he attempted to find work with the Twin Adders, but was unceremoniously turned down due to a lack of combat experience. Disillusioned and frustrated, he took up with a free company who agreed to train him as a paladin. During his second assignment, the entire company as well as the caravan they were hired to protect was wiped out. While fighting for his life, a red mage wounded him and left him for dead.While convalescing in Costa del Sol, he met his mentor Racine. She inspired him not to give up, and with her encouragement, he set off to Kugane to find someone to train him. During his training, he spent time exploring all of Kugane, Doma, and the Azim Steppe. He developed an insatiable wanderlust and rarely settles down, preferring to explore and experience new places and peoples.After training, he returned to Gridania and started taking work as an adventurer. While most of his jobs go well enough, a few adventures have begun to leave their mark.
